A family business, and still run like one
Thirty years across London and the South East, from Bond Street to Berkeley Square — and a collection built by a family that has always bought its stock together.
Regal Knots is a small, family-run business with a long history in London and the Home Counties, trading since the 1980s.
We began on Bond Street, moved to Baker Street, and later traded from the heart of Piccadilly and Berkeley Square — some of London’s most prestigious addresses.
A collection curated by one family
Family-run from day one, we have curated every piece ourselves. Today our stock includes rare, historic rugs kept for decades — many no longer available anywhere else — alongside carefully chosen new designs.
We hold hundreds of rugs at any one time: my own curated collection, pieces from the family’s historic holdings, and new designs from suppliers we have worked with for years.
Where we work
We continue to serve the areas we have always been proud to work in — the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, and the villages of Hertfordshire and Surrey — alongside our London roots.
Service that comes to you
What sets us apart is that we have kept the personal feel of a small family business. We will bring the collection to your doorstep and show you as many rugs as you wish, in your own home, with absolutely no obligation to buy.
There is a practical reason for this beyond courtesy. A rug changes completely depending on the light it stands in and the floor beneath it, and no photograph or showroom can tell you how a piece will look in your own room. Seeing it there is the only way to know.
What we are trying to do
A rug is something you choose for life. Our aim is simple: to help you find the piece you will love for years, and in doing so to build customers for life — as our family has done for decades.
Every rug is chosen for its quality, craftsmanship and lasting style, and every one is professionally photographed so you can see the true colour, texture and detail before you buy. Traditional patterns, classic designs or modern styles — the care and attention are the same.
We don’t just sell rugs. We carry forward a tradition of excellence that customers across London and the South East have trusted for over thirty years.
